Information on the Math Prep Course
Dear first-semester students,
The School of Engineering and Design is offering a Math Prep Course for the Winter Semester 2024/25. This course is voluntary and covers the fundamentals of mathematics.
The math prep course is not a mandatory event; you can come and go as you please. We encourage you to attend, both to make connections and to refresh your math skills. The material covered in the prep course will be revisited during the semester.
The course begins on September 30, 2024, at 8 AM.
IMPORTANT!
The prep course in German will take place at the TUM Campus in Garching, in lecture hall MW 2001. It will be held on weekdays from September 30 to October 10, 2024. This is during the two weeks leading up to the start of the winter semester on October 14, 2024. You can see the exact location here.
The prep course in English will take place at the TUM Campus in the city center during the same period. (Note: This prep course is primarily intended for Management & Technology, Aerospace, Engineering Science, Geodesy & Geoinformation.)
The structure of the prep course is as follows: Morning lectures; short break; afternoon exercises/self-directed problem-solving in groups.
