In the summer semester of 2024, the student association spent a weekend with 18 participants at Lake Lügstein.
On Friday, after traveling by train and taking a short walk from the station to the youth hostel, we settled into our rooms. Following that, we played some icebreaker games to help the group get to know each other better.
Before dinner, we held a preliminary meeting to discuss and briefly review the topics for the working groups planned for the next day. Our amazing cooking duo then prepared a delicious dinner, and the rest of the evening was free for everyone to relax.
The next morning, after a shared breakfast, the dedicated student association members gathered in their working groups, where they tackled various topics in small teams. After lunch, there was a break, which some used for climbing, beach volleyball, walks, or swimming in the nearby lake. In the afternoon, the working groups resumed, with some continuing their discussions even after dinner.
During the final meeting, each group presented and briefly discussed the results of their work. On Sunday, after breakfast and tidying up, we headed back to Munich by train. In the following student council meeting on Monday, the results of the working groups were summarized and presented again.
Overall, the seminar during the summer semester of 2024 was a great success, and the weekend at Lake Lügstein was truly enjoyable.
The next student council seminar will take place during the winter semester of 2024/25 from November 15-17, 2024, in Raitenhaslach.
