Student Council Federation

The Fachschaftenrat, or FSR for short, is the highest purely student body at TUM.

Here, the chairperson of the General Student Committee (AStA) and the AStA representatives are elected.

The FSR represents the student associations at the university level. At least one representative per student association (Fachschaft) must be elected. These representatives gather opinions from their student associations on university-wide issues such as the semester ticket and vote accordingly in the FSR. They then inform their student associations about the decisions and discussions during student association meetings.
